Your role here
As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory to determine material purchase requirements, source products, and maintain inventory levels to ensure highest customer satisfaction while minimizing working capital requirements.
Your experience and background
Lead and coach a team of Buyers and Senior Buyers, providing training, direction, and support to meet departmental supply availability and service level objectives
Collaborate with Product Fulfillment Teams to troubleshoot availability issues, resolve supply/demand mismatches and provide expertise on inventory management solutions
Develop and implement key supply chain planning concepts and strategies to regularly review and refine WinePak’s stocking program, establishing stocking level targets based on the sales forecast
Conduct ad-hoc analytics exercises to support leadership decision-making and continuous improvement, such as review of WinePak’s product offerings, fulfillment model, and support of sales team initiatives
Plan and implement analyses of supply chain processes, track forecast/shipments/inventory trends and present insights and recommendations to business partners across all levels to aid decision making
Responsible for representing Purchasing on improvement projects in areas such as inventory planning, production planning, and technology improvements, as well as other key cross-functional initiatives
Typically requires 5 to 7 years of related experience in a Purchasing environment OR an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field (e.g. Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering)
