Procurement Manager

RELYANT Global, LLC is currently seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join their Corporate Team in Maryville, TN. The Procurement Manager is responsible for coordinating solicitation package development, soliciting, examining, and analyzing bids and proposals, negotiating terms, and coordinating logistics for the purchase of services or goods such as equipment, materials, supplies, or products.
Responsibilities:
+ Interact with key stakeholders in identifying business needs, building relationships and selling the features and benefits of early procurement involvement.
+ Develop detailed sourcing and category plans to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
+ Manage preparation, implementation, and execution of procurement processes.
+ Implement procurement processes to ensure efficiency, cost savings and best practices.
+ Work with proposal teams throughout the proposal process to assist with solutioning and pricing.
+ Vet potential vendors and suppliers.
+ Serve as Vendor Manager in vendor selection, management, and performance.
+ Perform international sourcing, liaising and negotiating with new and existing suppliers to enhance business position.
+ Re-negotiate contracts with suppliers to produce better savings and further value for resources.
+ Create documentations necessary for the acquisition of materials and services.
+ Provide outstanding customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
+ Review supplies, works and services to ensure compliance with company procedures and best procurement practice.
+ Provide updates about procurement related progress and potential delays on a daily basis to the Business Manager.
+ Maintain positive working relationships with strategic suppliers to assure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met.
+ Analyze market and delivery trends so as to develop procurement technologies and processes that support those trends.
Education, Skills and Experience
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in any of the following disciplines is preferred: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods and organization and management.
+ Candidate must possess a strong drive to achieve excellence.
+ Candidate must possess solid business acumen and ability to apply it to RELYANT Global.
+ Experience with OCONUS procurements highly preferred.
+ Candidate must make a commitment to success in achieving mission objectives.
+ Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to craft contractually effective documents and agreements; present sensitive recommendations to higher authorities; and obtain concurrence with recommended approaches to managing issues.
+ Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment are essential.
+ Knowledge of CPSR best practices highly preferred.
+ Certification in government procurement or contracting preferred.
+ Knowledge of contract administration policies and practices is preferred.
+ Knowledge and understanding of the rules governing federal acquisition, including laws, regulations, and policies including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of Defense (DOD) regulations.
+ Construction contracting experience.
+ Contract negotiations.
+ Knowledge and understanding of Department of State (DOS) regulations.
+ Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
