Procurement Manager
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Procurement Manager in Boynton Beach, Florida, United States. The role is primarily situated within the government sector and will require an individual who is highly organized and detail-oriented. Responsibilities: • Process and manage bids and tenders for ERP solutions. • Utilize software such as 3M, Coupa, CRM, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, and About Time to facilitate procurement processes. • Oversee purchasing activities, ensuring adherence to government procurement policies and regulations. • Manage bid evaluation, bid documents, bid lists, bid management, bid packages, bid proposal, bid requests, bid solicitation, bid specifications, and bid strategy. • Handle purchasing functions, including purchasing management, purchasing materials, and coordinating with the purchasing department. • Provide excellent customer service, addressing and resolving customer inquiries efficiently. • Maintain and manage budget processes and buying processes. • Ensure accurate processing and recording of invoices, utilizing Microsoft Excel for data management. • Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience in a procurement role • Proficiency in procurement software such as 3M and Coupa • Experience with CRM and ERP solutions, including Enterprise Resource Planning • Familiarity with time management software, such as About Time • Understanding of budget and buying processes • Excellent customer service skills • Ability to handle invoices and proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Experience in government procurement processes • Knowledge of bid evaluation, bid documents, bid lists, bid management, bid packages, bid proposal, bid requests, bid solicitation, bid specifications, and bid strategy • Experience with tender offers and tenders • Familiarity with various purchasing activities • Experience working in or with a purchasing department • Understanding of purchasing functions and purchasing management • Ability to handle purchasing materials and adhere to purchasing policies Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
