Our client, a leader in the heavy industry sector, is seeking a **Procurement Manager** to join their team. As a Procurement Manager, you will be part of the procurement department supporting various internal teams. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, excellent communication abilities, and a strategic mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** **Procurement Manager**
**Location:** Marietta, OH
**Pay Range:** $90,000 - $105,000
**What's the Job?**
+ Define and deploy the entity Procurement strategy ensuring its alignment with the Global Procurement Strategy and business unit requirements.
+ Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and evaluate supplier performance.
+ Work with the finance team to create and manage procurement budgets, monitoring expenses and seeking cost-saving opportunities.
+ Oversee the entire procurement process, from identifying needs to placing orders and receiving goods/services.
+ Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies and legal requirements while preparing regular reports on procurement activities.
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor's degree in procurement & supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
+ 5 years of experience in procurement management, preferably in heavy industry.
+ Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
+ Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
