Procurement Manager

A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a Procurement Manager at MKS, you will partner with cross functional teams to effectively and efficiently drive the procurement activity. In this role, you will report to the Procurement Director.

You Will Make an Impact By:

Managing the procurement team and promote a high-performance environmentSolve dynamic problems that are important to the success of the organization and draw on experience to successfully negotiate lowest total cost of ownership/best price, OTD, lead times, customer satisfaction, and quality.Communicate risk mitigation action plans to C-suite level executive stakeholders.Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to support the business needs.Proactively drive the supply chain to supply and exceed our production floor’s needs and eliminate any interruptionsCapable to manage multiple projects and complete daily/weekly/monthly purchasing goals and metricsServe as the focal point for escalation of all supplier relationship issues for the suppliers under your responsibilityTravel to suppliers and other MKS facilities as required for this position


Skills You Bring:

A Bachelor of Science degree preferably in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, preferred MastersDetailed knowledge of mechanical parts, electronic component manufacturers, contract manufacturers and broker networks for electronic components.Proven crises management skills. Flexibility to travel globally up to 30% of the timeA demonstrated background and proven experience with purchasing and supply chain toolsGood interpersonal and communication skillsProficient in the use of ERP/MRP Systems, SAP, Oracle and Microsoft Office
