Summary: The Procurement Manager – Capital Expenditures is responsible for overseeing the procurement process for significant capital expenditures, ensuring timely delivery, optimal cost, and adherence to quality standards. This role requires a strategic approach to sourcing, negotiation, and contract management, with a focus on long-term value and risk mitigation. This person will develop and implement the Capital Expenditures strategy and will be responsible for setting the tone and direction for the company.  

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated candidate with a strong background in capital expenditures, supply chain management, excellent negotiation skills, and a keen eye for detail. This role provides an opportunity to be a thought leader in the space by developing the strategy in the capital expenditures space, building key relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and driving positive change and efficiencies.

Develop and implement procurement strategies for capital projects to optimize costs, quality, and supplier performance.Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities based on factors like quality, cost, delivery time, and financial stability.Negotiate favorable contracts with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing, terms, and conditions; ensure contracts align with organizational goals and legal requirements and manage any relevant contract renewals or amendments. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business and category requirements and develop procurement plans aligned with business objectives.Monitor supplier performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and take proactive measures to address any issues or risks.Manage the procurement capital budget and control costs; identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing initiatives, such as consolidating suppliers, negotiating volume discounts, and implementing long-term agreements.Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and technological advancements in business and category spaces to drive continuous improvement and innovation in the procurement process.Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, including conducting regular supplier performance reviews and fostering partnerships to enhance collaboration and value creation.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to procurement and supplier management; conduct regular audits to identify and address compliance gaps.

This is a salaried exempt position with an annualized salary range of $100k to $130k.
