Procurement Manager France
**Role Purpose:** This role is responsible for leading and coordinating the procurement and purchasing function across all entities of Fresenius Medical Care France, including manufacturing sites. The person will need to drive organizational compliance towards procurement/purchasing processes. This role has people management responsibilities. **Tasks:** + Organize, manage and supervise the effective work of the team and ensure that team works in harmony with other departments. + Ensure that the company complies with the procurement rules set locally and globally at all times. + Develop a procurement strategy that identifies which existing suppliers are preferred, essential, or to be de-sourced along with where opportunity suppliers may exist and the strategy to bring them on-board, aligned with Global, Regional and Local Guidance. + Manage the procurement process, including issuing and managing requests for proposal, and contract and scope of work negotiations while ensuring they are in line with business needs. + Collaborate with business partners across the organization helping them to effect purchasing transactions, challenging them where necessary to maximize profitability and efficiency of the business. + Critically review and drive improvement in processes for purchase orders, vendor selection, and systems. + Scope and drive ongoing system enhancements as resident subject matter expert. + Manage and establish relationships with key suppliers and own supplier database. + Develop sourcing initiatives and cost reduction strategies to assist the business in delivering measurable cost savings especially in dealing with third party medical products suppliers. + Assist in negotiations in conjunction with the business owners to establish beneficial contract terms and conditions for the company. + Review contracts in accordance to company terms and conditions. + Be a strong, visible Procurement manager, rapidly establishing and maintaining good working relationships, trust and confidence. + Build strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization. + Collaborate and implement Global Procurement Initiatives, including Categories Management Strategies implementation, processes, systems and dashboards. + Prepare and be resposible of reportings and local procurement results. + Participate in Regional and/or Global Procurement Projects. **Requirements:** + Purchasing bachelor degree or more with additional specialized qualification + At least 5 years professional experience in a similar position, ideally in an international company, in a line management role. + Excellent leadership skills & management techniques; as a team leader able to motivate and convince others + own leadership activities + Very strong team approach and ability to connect teams + Excellent negotiation and contracting skills + Highly professional attitude characterized by a result, quality, patient and customer oriented working style + Excellent networker and corresponding strong business network + Very high social competence, including excellent communication skills and based on a sincere personality + Very high level of flexibility, openness and empathy well balanced with high resilience, persuasiveness, self-confidence and good ability to work under pressure + Excellent ability to set priorities and take decisions even under changing conditions or conflicting requirements + Very strong structured methodical approach leading to pragmatic and effective solutions + Willingness to learn and build know-how within a short period of time + Very high ability to adapt to different cultures (country, professional/team cultures) + Excellent knowledge and practical experiences in project & change management + Excellent skills in presentation, facilitation and training + Knowledge of SAP/ SAP SRM and other eSourcing tools or ERP systems like Ariba + Bilingual French and English Business Proficiency as a must (presenting, writing, reading). + Standard IT user knowledge (MS Office, etc.) + Experience in medical products market is a great plus. + Willingness to travel abroad when required – max 20%
