Procurement Manager - HR & Professional Services

Join the Ecolab Global Indirect Procurement team in St. Paul as a Procurement Manager supporting the HR and Professional Services Categories.  As a Procurement Manager - Indirect, you will drive the sourcing strategy and enterprise initiatives for a cleaning, sanitizing, water, and energy solutions fortune 500 company through the development of strategic business relationships both domestically and internationally. 
 
This take-charge leader will lead indirect procurement activities for assigned subcategories, including HR and Professional Services. The strong performer will be recognized as procurement strategy expert and will collaborate with divisional and functional stakeholders along with suppliers to identify and drive total delivered cost savings, security of supply, innovation, and process improvements.

What you will do:

Effectively develops and communicates strategies, plans, actions and results to leadership and stakeholdersCreates and maintains preferred supplier list for each categoryAligns with the category teams to select suppliers and negotiate agreementsWorks closely with stakeholders to understand present & future services requirements Identifies and develops potential new suppliers and technologiesManages the TDC (Total Delivered Cost) process for selected CategoriesImplements new product sourcing strategies, procurement tools, technology, and processes to improve results & increase efficiencies

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field5+ years’ experience in procurement, marketing, IT, or supply chainStrong negotiation skills and contracts management experience in Professional Services, HR Categories, and other Indirect categories. Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree in Engineering, Business, or FinanceExperience in leading and driving large scale projectsStrong presentation skills and financial acumenAbility to indirectly influence and sell ideasBackground in corporate services, vendor relationship management, contracts development, or technology.
