Procurement Manager - P2P

The Procurement Manager will be a pivotal member of the ABM Procurement team, responsible for overseeing the enterprise Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) system and ensuring efficient and effective support for end-users. This role involves managing a team of procurement specialists, providing strategic direction, and ensuring the seamless operation of procurement processes. The Procurement Manager will also play a key role in driving the company’s overall P2P initiative and technology transformation.

Job Functions: 

Manage and mentor a team of procurement specialists, ensuring high performance and professional development. Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment. P2P System Management: Oversee the enterprise P2P system, ensuring it meets the needs of the organization. Provide strategic direction and support for the P2P help desk, addressing process, technical, and customer service issues. Ensure timely and accurate resolution of invoice reconciliation issues. Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives for invoice processing. Drive the development and implementation of a Procurement Center of Excellence (COE). Support the company’s overall technology transformation and P2P initiatives. Provide project management and support to the P2P support team and the Sourcing Team. Lead and participate in cross-functional projects to enhance procurement processes and systems. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and address their procurement needs. Build strong relationships with suppliers and external partners. Partner with the Category Management team to identify sourcing and savings opportunities, including refining the system as necessary Provide cross-functional work and leadership as needed to support various initiatives and projects. Manage the Requisition to Purchase Order (PO) process, including handling Change Requests  Responsible for the Requisition to Purchase Order (Req to PO) Cycle Time metric accordingly Person will manage all procurement specialists (10)

Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field required 5+professional experience in procurement, sourcing and/or supply chain management Solid understanding of a best in class procure to pay process Strong knowledge in the use of P2P and/or ERP systems; experience with Coupa is a must Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills; proficient in MS Word Strong analytical skills and ability to follow up with others on the team and across the business/operations Collaborative and agile; proven client relationship and influencing skills Ability to execute the procurement and business strategy Proven ability to manage a mid to large size team Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) Ability to present and clearly explain information to non-technical audiences Detail oriented with strong time management, organizational skills and ability to adapt to frequent change Proven ability to effectively juggle multiple priorities, and to prioritize day-to-day responsibilities and projects Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and has a sense of urgency Ability to work in team environment Strong problem-solving skills Flexible and adaptable to learning and understanding new technologies with the ability to successfully navigate in a complex business environment Ability to work in fast paced environment and multitask, re-prioritize and manage time effectively Provide excellent customer service to end users and vendors

Work Environment: 

Domestic travel is negligible Must live near Sugarland Texas Hybrid role (T, Wed, TH in Sugarland Texas)
