Fulltime Procurement Officer needed for an industrialenvironmental company in Beaumont We are looking for an astute procurement officer to oversee purchasing activities and ensure that purchased items are both costefficient and of high quality Responsibilities include evaluating suppliers products amp services negotiating contracts maintaining positive supplier relations evaluating supply options approving purchases and maintaining accurate records This position will also pick up and deliver parts amp supplies and candidate must be able to safely tie down loads Procurement officers should have an analytical mind and keep up with product and service trends Mechanical and DrillingDredging Equipment knowledge is a huge Plus Ultimately a top procurement officer should be able to negotiate well and ensure that all purchases comply with company standards Business hours are Monday Friday AM PM and the starting pay is to per hour DOE
