Procurement Operations Manager

\n\n \n \nWhy We Have This Role\n \n\n

On the Qualtrics Procurement team, we have a goal to enable Qualtrics’ mission and vision by providing the right third party solutions at the right time. We have embarked on an extensive transformation of our Procurement operating model with a focus on implementing industry best practices and optimizing supplier spend. 

\nAs the Procurement Operations Manager you will be identifying and driving improvement opportunities across the Qualtrics Procurement function’s operational Source-to-Pay capabilities, in close collaboration with the Category Management Team Manager,  the Procurement Data & Infrastructure Lead and the Qualtrics Shared Services P2P team leader. The role will partner with Shared Services leadership to monitor team performance against agreed KPIs and to develop processes to increase team efficiencies. You will be the main point of contact for any issues or escalations within Procurement related to Shared Services delivery and will ensure Shared Services’ operating procedures are updated to reflect any changes to Procurement policies and / or objectives. You will also be responsible for onboarding Category Support resources (providing support for tactical sourcing and relevant category analytics) and establishing an effective operating model with the Qualtrics Category Leads.\n \n \nHow You’ll Find Success\n\n\nMaximizing efficiency and effectiveness of operational Procurement processes for Qualtrics\nIdentifying and meeting local and regional requirements while implementing global standards\nDemonstrating in-depth knowledge of operational best practices through consistent application within the Shared Services and Procurement teams\nListening to and appropriately addressing stakeholder feedback regarding user experience and overall program operations\nStrengthening relationship with Shared Services team and operating as “one Qualtrics” \nOperating as a team player across executive levels who effectively collaborates with business units and functional partners (i.e., IT, finance, HR, legal)\nEstablishing a positive team environment, where people are inspired, encouraged, and motivated\nProviding clear direction to teams regarding objectives, KPIS, etc., and holding all involved parties accountable for delivery in accordance with agreed standards\n\n

 

\n\nHow You’ll Grow\n\n\nLead with Influence: Develop your leadership skills, inspiring and motivating your team to achieve exceptional results.\nExpand Your Horizons: Gain exposure to diverse work cultures and global business practices.\nBecome a Strategic Partner: Build strong relationships with senior leadership and contribute to Qualtrics' overall success.\nMake a Lasting Impact: Leave a legacy of positive change, shaping the future of work for Qualtrics employees worldwide.\n\n\n \nThings You’ll Do\n\n\nAct as the functional owner for all downstream Procurement capabilities, including requisition-to-pay and expense processing and auditing\nRefine operating model for operational Procurement to ensure effective execution of requisition-to-pay and expense processes and seamless collaboration between Qualtrics Procurement organization and the Shared Services team \nIdentify opportunities for improvement across the Procurement operating model, with an emphasis on segmentation of operational activities from Sourcing teams and transition to Shared Services support model\nRepresent Procurement’s interest in discussions or decisions regarding Shared Services’ team objectives, ways of working, and staffing\nProvide support to the Shared Services team in a “dotted line” capacity\nPartner with peers in Procurement as well as Shared Services leadership to define and implement relevant organizational KPIs\nServe as the accountable party to Qualtrics Procurement and business stakeholders for delivery of operational activities in line with agreed KPIs and targets\nAct as a point of escalation for Procurement and Qualtrics business stakeholders for issues related to Shared Services delivery or operational processes\nProvide functional oversight and support to Category Support resources, with a focus on differentiating scope from Category Leads and ensuring strong connectivity with Sourcing team\nManage M&A activities for Procurement including gathering supplier data and contracts, identifying dispositions, and supporting the Category Management team in contract consolidations.\n\n\n \nWhat We’re Looking For On Your Resume\n\n\n9+ years of experience in Procurement and/or operational roles\nLeadership experience in operational Procurement (e.g. Req-to-Pay, Accounts Payable, etc.)\nProven ability to coach and develop a team\nProven ability to meet or exceed operational KPIs \nComplex project management, ideally related to S2P implementation or enhancements\nExperience with process mapping, optimization, and implementation \nStrong background in Procurement technologies that support the Source-to-Pay process\nProficiency in all modules of Coupa\nPrevious experience in a technology or software company \nBachelor’s degree required / MBA, JD, or advanced degree in a procurement related field preferred\n\n\n \n\n
