Procurement Process Manager – Facilities & Construction

As a Process Manager for the facilities and construction procurement categories, you will collaborate with process owners to identify and evaluate Indirect Procurement business operations through data collection, analysis, and problem-solving, especially as it relates to major capital construction and facilities operations initiatives! You will carry out benchmarking tasks across a variety of sources, with the goal of streamlining current processes and orchestrating process change to set a top-tier standard. You will develop suggestions for enhancing performance while leading and implementing project plans for comprehensive process improvement activities to fulfill business needs and deliver business outcomes. You will involve leadership and cross-functional team members to promote acceptance and realize continuous process improvement outcomes! **What’s Encouraged Daily:** + Process Management + Discover, map, and document business processes for construction and facilities procurement, focusing on standardization and optimization. + Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, ensuring transparency and consistency across the team. + Analyze workflows and data to assess performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive process improvements for greater efficiency. + Collaborate with project managers to ensure the integration of improved processes with procurement objectives and business strategies. + Set benchmarks, supervise performance, and ensure compliance with established process standards, driving continuous improvement. + Process Transformation/Improvement + Lead global and regional process transformation initiatives, focusing on construction and facilities procurement. + Guide cross-functional teams to define, implement, and optimize business processes, increasing efficiency and standardization. + Drive process benchmarking and elevate current practices to set a best-in-class standard. + Apply continuous improvement tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to improve process efficiency and drive transformation. + Act as a subject matter expert and consultant for procurement processes, ensuring alignment with interpersonal goals. + Leading through Influence + Lead adoption with organizational change management methods and tools, capturing the return on investment for projects or programs. + Ability to encourage and persuade others to embrace changes for successful implementation of projects. + Team member Engagement + Develop positive relationships with collaborators to create competitive advantages, achieving program and project objectives. + Collaborate with process owners to define and assess process improvements. + Actively engage with procurement leadership and cross-functional business clients to drive standard process adoption, optimized system utilization, and continuous process improvement outcomes. + Domain Fluency & Business Insight + Apply procurement proven experience for capital construction and facilities operation. + Apply business sense to incorporate standard processes and lessons learned in program and project execution. + Data Fluency + Understand, interpret, and act on data to drive decision-making, curiosity, and innovation. + Ensure optimal outcomes for Micron’s critical initiatives through data-driven insights. + Digital Dexterity & Innovation + Adopt new tools, processes, and systems for better ways of working and continuous improvement. + See opportunities to demonstrate technology for driving better business outcomes. **How To Qualify:** + Minimum 5 years of experience as a process manager and/or change agent, with a consistent track record of implementing and maintaining processes in a large, cross-functional organization. + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science (CS or MIS) or alternative that is applicable to the role. + Globally recognized certifications such as CPSM, PROSCI, or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. + Proficiency with O365, SharePoint, MS Project, Visio, Celonis/Symbio, or equivalent process management tools. + Strong project management skills, with knowledge of procurement standard processes and technologies to drive best-in-class results. + Expertise in applying continuous improvement tools and methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to elevate process efficiency and drive transformation. + Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate sophisticated processes to team members. + Ability to thrive in a global, diverse team environment, collaborating across various functions and geographies.
