RGNext operates, maintains, and sustains mission-critical systems to provide safe and effective launch, testing, and tracking of Department of Defense, civil, commercial and international space lift vehicles. + Process purchase requisitions to issue and administer purchase orders for goods or services ensuring compliance with purchasing procedures, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) , Defense Acquisition Regulations (DFARS), and user requirements + Train to understand and apply all aspects of bids, requests for quotes and proposals, including precise specifications, supporting spreadsheets, comparisons, recommendations, and justifications. + Provide liaison services between vendors and departments for order status (expediting), procurement procedures, and problem resolution; research sources of supply; advise departments on cost effective alternatives. + Assist in bid openings for competitive solicitations such as requests for quotes, bids, and proposals. + Review and evaluate contracts and agreements (to include software agreements); issue award letters and purchase orders, negotiate change orders, and determine sole source validity. + Maintain data regarding supplier information, files, reports, price lists on assigned commodities; negotiate prices and terms. + Maintain records in accordance with established policies and procedures and audit guidelines. + Expedite shipping and deliveries, price changes, and vendor back orders. + Validate, reconcile, and process receiving reports, vendor invoices, and other payment documents. + Other related duties as assigned. Required Skills + Strong interpersonal and communication skills. + Ability to effectively: + Train to understand and implement purchasing requirements in accordance with FAR/DFAR requirements. + Use independent judgment and to manage and impart confidential information. + Evaluate procurement bids in accordance with established criteria. + Analyze and solve problems. + Document work in progress. + Complete moderately complex administrative paperwork. + Investigate and analyze information and draw conclusions. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook. Required Experience + Bachelor-s degree in Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related discipline; or an equivalent combination of experience and education. + Preferred experience: + Have familiarity with FAR/DFAR requirements. + Experience expediting orders with suppliers. + Negotiating purchases and vendor agreements. Additional Eligibility Qualifications + The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements. + Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship or U.S. naturalization.
