Procurement Project Manager
Job Title: Sourcing ManagerJob Description The Sourcing Manager will lead the development and implementation of strategic sourcing activities in assigned projects, supply base, and/or categories. The goal is to obtain the best quality, service, and value for products and services through effective bidding, negotiation, and supplier management. The Sourcing Manager will also spearhead projects and strategies related to product transfers, cost reduction initiatives, supply base optimization, risk assessments, and new product introductions. Responsibilities + Develop and implement strategic sourcing activities to achieve optimal quality, service, and value. + Lead projects and strategies related to product transfers, cost reduction initiatives, and supply base optimization. + Conduct risk assessments and manage new product introductions. + Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms. + Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and continuity of supply. + Analyze procurement data and assess risks to develop solutions that optimize project outcomes. + Communicate effectively with multiple functional groups and stakeholders to ensure alignment and provide progress updates. + Utilize procurement management software and tools such as SAP Ariba, Oracle Procurement Cloud, or similar platforms. Essential Skills + Expertise in strategic planning and implementation of procurement strategies. + Advanced negotiation skills for securing favorable terms with suppliers. + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. + Extensive experience in managing procurement projects including product transfers and cost reduction initiatives. + Ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships. + Effective communication and interpersonal skills. + Familiarity with procurement management software and tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. + Minimum of 5 years in procurement project management, strategic sourcing, or supplier management. + Proven track record of managing procurement projects and driving cost savings. + Experience in implementing process improvements and managing supplier relationships. Work Environment The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with a hybrid work model. Must be available to be on-site as needed. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
