Procurement BP and Procurement Project Managers represent the Procurement function in the Business, have in-depth understanding of the business strategy, product portfolio, and are responsible for driving the buy-in, approval, and funding of projects to improve supply base resilience, quality and BoM productivity.
The Procurement Business Partner Team for the Business Hospital Patient Monitoring is working with a global supply base, supporting the global operating business having locations in China, Germany and US.
The team is responsible for the Procurement Business Strategy creation covering the Business requirements in terms of technology, footprint, in/outsourcing, cost road-maps, supplier Risk Management, supplier consolidation and preferred supply base adherence.
This includes cross functional engagement with R&D, Operations and Category Management.
As Procurement Project Manager you will be creating and executing procurement business strategies in the following categories: Software, Service&Repairs, Electronics, Mechanical Components (metal and plastics) areas for Philips Hospital Patient Monitoring business group. You will be responsible for supply base optimization by prioritizing execution of supplier deletion performed by Philips GBS team. Our goal is to ensure resilient supply base which is able to scale up to meet our growth ambitions and is performing well in quality and on time delivery.

Your role:
Managing procurement strategy execution by initiating and running procurement projects
Managing HPM savings funnel, cost savings strategies and supply base resilience initiatives
Preparing Procurement Monthly Performance Review on HPM level
Running ideation workshops and building productivity project funnel for current year and two following years
Managing HPM supply base and running supply base optimization projects
Working with global commodity teams to align on best strategies for agile supply base
Being single point of contact for OMM, Category Management, SQE and R&D in ensuring robust supply base
You're the right fit if:
You have multiple years of experience in engineering, procurement or supply chain management
You have supplier life-cycle management experience
You have participated in projects of cost, quality & supply base optimization
You have high-level analytical mindset with a target-driven approach to tasks
You offer excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills
You are fluent in English
You are ready to travel when needed (20% per year, Germany)
PMP or other project management certification will be an additional asset
