Procurement Rep

Description:As a Procurement Representative, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of subcontracts, including preparing specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for procurement activities. You will develop and evaluate bid packages, conduct bidders' conferences, and negotiate contract provisions with suppliers. From writing subcontract packages for review and awarding contracts to administering resulting subcontracts, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all procurement activities are aligned with program requirements and company policies. Your work will include the negotiation and coordination of contract changes, the development of procurement policies, and the potential to sign supplier agreements within your authority.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner.
Desired Skills:
Familiar with Systems, Applications and Processes (SAP) or equivalent purchasing/ERP system, such as Procure to Pay

Works independently and in a collaborative team-based environment

Experience with multi-tasking and managing competing priorities

Experience with analyzing problems and recommending solutions

Familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS)

Developing Project/Program Management skills

Demonstrated sense of urgency, self-motivated

Learning subcontract management skills/practices

Experience with negotiations

Ability to make business-based decisions

Procurement experience within aerospace technologies or a similar industry

Written and verbal communication and organization skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
