You will be instrumental in identifying and leading strategic sourcing activities to lower the overall total cost of ownership for Amazon operations. The team is dedicated to ensuring equipment and service availability to meet business owner requirements. We are seeking individuals who can drive sourcing strategies, negotiate with suppliers, and execute contracts. Whether you're managing transportation initiatives, overseeing cross-functional programs, or focusing on strategic projects, your impact will be visible, ongoing, and contribute directly to our commitment to being the most customer-centric company on earth.
Key job responsibilities
• Establish sourcing strategies, negotiate with suppliers, and execute contracts to drive cost savings.
• Drive and manage supplier relationships to enhance collaboration and achieve business goals.
• Manage high spend categories, being accountable for cost savings, with a minimum of $80M in category spend.
• Lead strategic sourcing activities to lower the overall total cost of ownership for Amazon operations.
• Develop and negotiate framework agreements to reduce risk and support local teams in project-specific needs.
