Reporting to the Procurement Manager you will focus on Resin Packaging Procurement. You will be accountable for research and strategy implementation, high-level problem resolution, building relationships both internally and externally, in-depth category analysis, forecasting and reporting. You will have the opportunity to promote a cause and collaborate cross-functionally to identify and implement process improvement or strategic opportunities.
You'll work on:
Purchasing and negotiating of assigned commodities, ingredients or packaging according to the requirements needed and at the appropriate market-driven times.Develop category strategies with an understanding of supply and demand, market dynamics, and cost driversCreate relationships with internal customers and external suppliers.Contract and position management support by Excel, SAP, Right Angle and other internal systems.Primary contact for all plants on contract managementSupport the plants and procurement category managers to identify and resolve material supply risks.Support R&D on innovation projects and work with the plants to manage the inbound supply chainEnsure implementation of Enterprise Procurement projects within assigned brands/plants.Data gathering and risk/reward analysis on all purchasing bids and specification change initiatives for assigned categories.Collaborate cross-functionally to manage raw material inventories for assigned projects/plants to minimize material loss or obsolescenceProvide an accurate monthly material forecast and communicate changes in material costs and market drivers to internal customers.Position Qualifications
Bachelor level degree required in Finance; Economics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or Business2+ years' experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, FinanceExperience dealing with rapid changes and executing in a matrixed environment.Demonstrate strengths in, project management and conflict management.Continuous improvement mindsetExperience using SAP or comparable ERP system.Excel – vlookups, formula relationships, pivot tablesIn office 3 days per week, Tuesday - Thursday#LI-PM2

Compensation:
Pay Range:$62,000-$91,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
