Procurement Specialist

We are currently seeking a Procurement Specialist to provide support for our customer in Crane, IN. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following duties, as well as, possess the following education and experience. 

Duties:

Procurement planning, placing procurements such as PCARD, SAP, and DLA and tracking procurements. Support all stages of procurement process from filling out required forms, requesting Unique Material Master (UMM) numbers and extending material numbers to appropriate Storage Locations (SLOC's), tracking progress of purchases, using current database or generated Excel spreadsheets. Prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports to provide updated status of transactions performed and any issues encountered/resolved. Provide guidance and information to requester that includes communication of procurement actions, or status and assist with special or complex requirements. Collect and analyze logistic data, create and maintain databases of In-Service engineering data, prepare logistics data/materials to support briefings, generate reports and associated documentation.  Provide lifecycle logistics support and assist with maintenance of logistics support data, trackers, schedules, and documents.

Desired Education:

High school/vocational school degree or GED certificate.

Desired Experience:

1+ years professional experience in DoD / Navy purchasing.

Desired Qualifications:

Associate's degree or higher. Military experience.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
