Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Procurement Specialist in Cleveland, Ohio. The role involves providing support to the enterprise Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) system, addressing technical and customer service needs, resolving invoice reconciliations, and assisting in the company's overall technology transformation.
Responsibilities:
• Offer high-quality support to end users by explaining the procurement process and guiding them on how to use basic and advanced features of the P2P system
• Troubleshoot and resolve end-user access, order, and catalog access issues
• Engage in the Invoice Reconciliation process when necessary to handle invoice price variances and issues
• Build and maintain strong relationships with preferred vendors to streamline the invoice reconciliation process
• Foster a strong working relationship with internal stakeholders across operations and corporate departments
• Assist in P2P pricing and catalog management continuous business improvement activities
• Identify areas of end-user risk and engage management early when signals indicate potential performance issues
• Actively participate in process improvements throughout the P2P and other Procurement Processes
• Provide project support to the P2P Support Team and support to the Sourcing Team as required
• Become a subject matter expert in the functional aspects of the P2P System. Requirements • Demonstrated expertise in procurement processes and operations
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Experience in handling invoices and reconciliations
• Knowledge of supply chain management, variance analysis, and cost analysis
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work with various stakeholders
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
• Knowledge of Oracle and other procurement related software
• Experience in process improvement and implementation of Agile methodologies
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors
• Strong understanding of pricing strategies and negotiations
• Quality assurance and process improvement skills
• Deskside support and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
