This position is responsible for supporting project planning and implementation for multiple projects across procurement channels. This role will have one special assignment within the project team, to manage the review and movement of excess inventory, off-grade, distressed, over-runs to appropriate outlets. Other project assignments will be determined based on larger team and company goals. Activities could include, but are not limited to, analyzing sales, purchasing, and inventory data, organizing meetings, ensuring team members meet project deadlines, keeping projects on-time and within scope, and alerting key stakeholders of project risks.
What You’ll Do at Saputo
Manage small projects and provide support for larger projects.Create and maintain project sheets, timelines, and action registers.Use business intelligence tools to pull data to assist in decision making.Report monthly on active inventory, identifying areas of potential concern.Facilitate and provide point of contact for cross-functional team communication.Provide weekly project progress reports highlighting potential concerns and opportunities.Perform other procurement project-related duties as assigned.Who Is Right for The Role?
1-2 years of project management or a similar position (food industry is a plus).Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, related field, or equivalent experience.Highly organized and meticulous with details.Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.Strong Excel skills rooted in analysis.Enjoys working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.Up to 10% travel required.What can Saputo Do for You?
