About the Role

Project Procurement Specialist will be responsible for selected procurement activities within nominated customer projects. You will work closely with Project team members.
This position is located in Tashkent.

 

Key accountabilities:

Procurement activities in assigned customer project by ensuring Procurement Project Plan is followed, maintained and carried out according to project needs. Ensuring the proper use of Metso favorable commercial terms & conditions in project purchase negotiations and contracting​. Preparing and managing the bidding process and complies the bid evaluations ​ Preparing and filing the project specific purchasing documentation ​ Managing the supplier invoices​ and the bank guarantee issues Complies to Sourcing rules in Supplier selections and adheres to existing Product Procurement Plans Secures the Aftermarket aspect in project purchase negotiations and contracting Participating into the claim process​ and owning escalation in material related topics Ensuring that Purchase Orders are done according to process in timely manner

 

 To succeed you will need:

Good teamworking and communication skills Strong negotiation and contractual skills Self-motivated approach, ability to work independently and make decisions in own responsibility area. Solid supply processes and practices understanding High sense of urgency and Hands-on mentality Demonstrate respect for others and act in an appropriate and professional manner in all situations. Assess and prioritize work requirements; develop and execute plans in a timely manner. A high level of computer skills is essential – SAP, MS-Office applications. Good command of English and Russian language. Any other additional language skills would be an advantage. Suitable commercial or technical background.
