Procurement Specialist
What this position is about - Purpose:
The incumbent is responsible for the purchase of products and services for the assigned category according to company’s internal procedures, ensuring at the same time the quality required by the business partner and an optimal total cost of ownership.
What will you do - Responsibilities:
Performs spend analysis, and identifies the expectations of internal customers related to business objectives; Create, update, and manage the Category Plan, centralizing results, proposing improvements, and defining clear strategies; Organize sourcing events (RFPs, RFIs, e-auctions) and identify new suppliers to meet quality, availability, and cost objectives; Implement and monitor procurement actions based on Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) principles and address supplier performance issues; Develop cost-reduction strategies, mitigate risks, and evaluate key suppliers for further improvement; Conduct regular supplier visits, negotiate contracts, and ensure performance indicators meet required standards;
Who are we looking for - Requirements:
University degree (Bachelor’s or Master's degree); Minimum 3 years of working experience in a similar position in a multinational company; Good communication & negotiation skills; Strong planning & organizing abilities; English knowledge (speaking, writing) – advanced, (Bulgarian, Serbian, and Russian are a plus); MS Office proficiency, especially (Excel); SAP or other ERP software knowledge – represents an advantage; Experience working in procurement e-sourcing platforms (ARIBA, ATAI, GEP, COUPA are a plus);
