Total Number of Openings 1 The Chevron Business Support Center located in Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero), Argentina, is accepting online applications for the **Procurement Specialist** position. Successful candidates will join the Procurement Shared Services Center, which is part of a successful multifunction service center with a workforce of more than 1000 employees that delivers business services and solutions across the globe since 2006. **Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:** + Manage the procurement process, including vendor selection (sourcing), purchasing, and order management (tracking and expediting), ensuring timely delivery of equipment and materials at the best Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). + Coordinate transportation and logistics of goods. + Promote process standardization, compliance, and maximized use of Chevron’s preferred suppliers. + Support clients/customers and assist with functional projects under regular supervision. + General knowledge of the work group. **Required Qualifications:** + Candidate must be capable to communicate (read, write and speak) in Spanish and English language. + Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Accountancy or Business Courses, Diploma/Certificate in Procurement/Supply Chain Management would be an advantage. + Knowledgeable in Contracting and Procurement Process, eSourcing, contract administration, and eProcurement would be an advantage + Excellent planning, analytical, people and communication skills are essential to the job **Preferred Qualifications:** + Knowledgeable with tools such as ARIBA, SAP, Ketera and GEP would be an advantage **Relocation Options:** Relocation **will not be** considered. **International Considerations:** Expatriate assignments **will not be** considered.
