Description We are offering a contract for a Procurement Specialist role in the non-profit sector, based in San Francisco, California. The role primarily involves managing purchasing and procurement activities, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring timely and accurate financial support. Responsibilities: • Facilitate the procurement process, including creating purchase requisitions, sending approved Purchase Orders to vendors, and collecting documentation for received goods and services. • Handle the receipt of goods and services within the purchasing system and ensure mathematical accuracy of invoices. • Oversee the monthly reconciliation of corporate cards, including collecting transaction receipts and ensuring proper coding of expenses in compliance with policies. • Manage the sourcing and purchasing of necessary production/office supplies and oversee news and software subscriptions. • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Direct Travel/Concur, assisting clients with expense reports, travel arrangements, and event registration. • Coordinate with Independent Contractors on material releases and facilitating payments. • Support the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) team with month-end accruals and ad hoc analysis and reporting. • Complete monthly journal entries as necessary and review employee expense reports, adjusting coding as needed. • Maintain all records in a secure, neat, and easily accessible manner. • Perform other essential duties as assigned.
