Description We are offering a contract for a Procurement Specialist role in Fishers, Indiana. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be entrusted with managing vendor contracts, maintaining accurate data, and fostering positive relationships with our vendors. This role is integral to our operations as it ensures smooth contract processing and system management.
Responsibilities:
• Execute and manage all aspects of vendor contract processing according to established guidelines
• Uphold accurate and comprehensive contract records in the CLM system
• Maintain and update standard contract templates while ensuring proper document version control
• Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors, facilitating clear communication throughout the contract lifecycle
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to process contract requests efficiently and provide regular status updates
• Implement automation for repetitive tasks to enhance operational efficiency
• Monitor contract expiration dates and initiate the renewal process in a timely manner
• Reconcile contracts with purchase orders to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Contribute to the team by sharing contract management best practices and participating in procurement training initiatives
• Support procurement's commitment to ethical business practices and continuous improvement of contract processes Requirements • Proficiency in utilizing software such as 3M, Coupa, and CRM
• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions
• Experience with time management software, specifically About Time
• Knowledge and understanding of budget processes
• Experience in buying processes, including negotiating and finalizing purchases
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to resolve issues and maintain relationships
• Ability to handle invoice processing, ensuring accuracy and timely payments
• Expertise in SAP for managing procurement processes
• Experience in corporate procurement, including strategies and policies
• Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships, including negotiation, contract management, and performance evaluation.
