This role will ensure adherence to established timelines, quality, and cost targets. This role requires a person with excellent agility in using procurement systems, ERPs, and digital tools to efficiently manage order processing, supplier relations, and internal coordination with other departments across all regions. As a member of the Vantage Shared Services Center, the Procurement Specialist will participate in driving Customer-First execution and best-in-class service. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** + **Order Management:** Process and manage purchase orders (POs) for raw materials, services, and supplies. Ensure accuracy of pricing, quantities, dates, and general completeness of all orders. + **System Management:** Accurately maintain ERP system price, trade agreement and vendor data to ensure transactional effectivness. + **Supplier Coordination:** Communicate with suppliers to confirm order details, delivery schedules, order-sample shipments, and product specifications. Resolve any issues related to order fulfillment. + **Delivery Tracking:** Monitor and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods. Address and resolve any delays or discrepancies in delivery. + **Reporting:** Create and maintain up-to-date procurement reports, spend analysis, and supplier performance metrics using digital tools. Support KPI reporting and continuous improvement actions. + **Quality Support:** Manage resolution of issues related to supplier product quality, specifications and missing documentation. + **Inventory Management:** Maintain and update inventory records. Ensure that stock levels are adequate to meet production needs without overstocking. + **Documentation:** Keep accurate and detailed records of all work instructions and purchasing activities, including POs, receipts, and supplier communications. + **Team Collaboration:** Regular communication with Procurement, Customer Success and SIOP teams to align on purchase order status, demand forecasts, share supplier/market information and other documentation needs. Support requests from Finance & other functional teams. + **Compliance:** Ensure that all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations. **QUALIFICATIONS:** **Education:** Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administation, Engineering, International Trade or related fields. **Experience:** + 1-3 years in procurement, supply chain, logistics or similar roles. + Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, D365, Epicor), Microsoft Excel, and e-procurement platforms. + Experience in order processing, data-analysis, and continuous improvement. + Teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with internal functions and third-party suppliers. + Strong organizational and time-management skills. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Attention to detail and accuracy in transactional processes. + Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. **Language:** English (B2 at least) Vantage is a leading supplier of naturally derived specialty ingredients and formulations that cater to the evolving needs of industrial and consumer markets.
