Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the government industry. The role is for a Procurement Specialist who will be tasked with managing bidding processes and utilizing specific software for efficient performance. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage the entire bidding process in a government procurement setting • Prepare and manage requests for bids, proposals, and quotations (RFP/ RFQ) • Use the CRM system to maintain accurate customer records and process customer inquiries • Manage and oversee construction-related procurement processes • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions based on account status • Maintain and manage buying processes • Perform customer service duties and resolve customer inquiries promptly • Manage and oversee budget processes. Requirements • Practical knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. • Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, and its application in government procurement. • Proficiency in various ERP Solutions that aid in streamlining procurement processes. • Understanding of budget processes and the ability to manage procurement within allocated funds. • Knowledge and experience in buying processes, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing. • Strong customer service skills to maintain relationships with vendors and other stakeholders. • Ability to manage invoices effectively, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
