Your Role
The Aptiv North America Connection Systems (NA CS) team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, highly motivated Procurement Specialist to support the ReSale Business. The successful candidate will be the face of Aptiv in PC&L activities in procuring Finished Goods to support Customer Requirements.
Key job responsibilities for this role include:
Monitor and track supplier purchase orders and forecasts on a timely basis to ensure timely availability of materialsMonitor vendor Shipments to Requirements for supplier shipment conformanceCoordinate Supplier forecast to Support Customer DemandsStrategize and control material to meet inventory goalsManage materials using SAPMonitor logistics in the materials movement, planning and expediting to support customerNew program start-up co-ordinationProgram management Support for PC&L activitiesBasic Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in (Logistics/Supply Chain/Business) and/or 2-yrs experienceExperience in Production Control and/or LogisticsSAP experience is requiredStrong Microsoft skills & analytical skills requiredPrevious Procurement and/or Production Control experienceSupply Chain ExperienceStrong Communication skills with Manufacturing SuppliersWhy join us?
