Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Procurement Specialist to join our team in the Bronx, New York. In this role, you will be primarily focused on handling various procurement tasks and actions, with a significant emphasis on buying processes and procurement requests. Responsibilities: • Oversee the procurement functions, ensuring all processes are carried out efficiently. • Handle the buying processes, ensuring all purchases are made in accordance with company policies. • Manage procurement actions, ensuring all actions are carried out to the highest standards. • Execute procurement requests, ensuring all requests are processed accurately and promptly. • Oversee the Request For Proposal (RFP) process, ensuring all proposals are thoroughly reviewed and processed. • Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning software to streamline and manage procurement processes. • Handle RPQs, RFPs, and IFBs, ensuring all documents are properly managed and processed. • Monitor and report on procurement processes, identifying any areas for improvement. • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient procurement processes. • Maintain accurate records of all procurement actions, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accessible.
