Description We are offering a temporary employment opportunity for a Procurement Specialist in the manufacturing industry, located in Marlborough, Massachusetts. This role involves handling a variety of procurement tasks, including reviewing quotes, ensuring pricing accuracy, and managing vendor relationships. The role will also include some inventory tracking and buying responsibilities. Responsibilities: • Reviewing and processing quotes through the approval contact. • Ensuring accurate pricing in procurement systems • Serving as the point of contact for vendors, troubleshooting invoice issues as needed. • Following up on past due dates and tracking down statements. • Supporting manufacturing and engineering departments with procurement needs. • Conducting inventory tracking and buying activities as required. • Handling requisitions and creating purchases. • Assisting in the onboarding of new vendors via ERP • Utilizing Excel for tracking and analysis purposes. Requirements • Ability to utilize customer relationship management (CRM) systems effectively • Comprehensive understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) principles • Experience with ERP Solutions for managing procurement operations • Familiarity with About Time software for time tracking and project management • Knowledge of budget processes and their implementation in manufacturing procurement • Expertise in buying processes within the manufacturing industry • Strong customer service skills for interaction with vendors and suppliers • Experience with invoice processing and management.
