Roles & Responsibilities:

Responsible for procurement of materials and services as per procurement guidance i.e. processing requisitions, placing purchase orders (POs), following up on PO responses with suppliersPerforming bid evaluations and negotiating the best price with the supplier as well as ensuring timely delivery of the ordered materials and their compliance with the company’s quality plan.Perform cost-benefit analysis and benchmarking (including but not limited to prices, quality lead time), before making procurement decisions, to determine the most cost-effective options.Maintain proper records of all procurement transactions.Support budget holders and contract accountable managers with invoice verification.Closely work and support Category team(s) with the evaluation of reliability, materials quality and pricing as well as negotiation with potential suppliers.Proactively recommend and implement improvements to the existing P2P process and tools/ systems to improve efficiency and maximize automation.Ability to optimize sourcing, transportation, and distribution of materials.Collaborating with engineering and technical teams to define procurement requirements.Assessing risks related to procurement decisions (e.g., supply chain disruptions, geopolitical factors).Implementing risk mitigation strategies.Proficiency in using procurement software, data analytics tools, and automation platforms.Leveraging data to make informed decisions and improve efficiency.


Educational background and Experience:

BS/MS in Finance/ Economics/ Business Administration/ Supply ChainAt least 2 years of relevant work experienceExperience in Logistics and Materials Management is a plus
