Overview The Sr Manager role is a hybrid position that provides a unique and entrepreneurial opportunity to collaborate globally with peers and cross-functional leaders, developing business cases and influencing new category strategies. Collaboration with functional/Business Sr Director+ is frequent and required, therefore executive level communication skills are paramount. In addition, this role will require the ability to understand fleet operations and influence key decision makers, particularly across sectors and international business units. Preferred location for this role is Plano, TX or Purchase, NY. Responsibilities The Sr Manager of Global Fleet is responsible for the development and execution of sourcing strategies for operating supplies and services across our global food and beverage fleet. Scope includes repair, maintenance, tires, and fuel required for PepsiCo’s >100k fleet assets. The Sr Manager and team are accountable for >$300 million annual spend and generates >$15 million in annual savings. In addition, this role will partner with PepsiCo’s Fleet COEs, Supply Chain leaders, and sector Procurement to develop sourcing strategies and co-lead our fleet transformation. Key accountabilities include: Category Strategy – Partner with Fleet COE and sector procurement leads to develop and deploy world-class sourcing strategies to step-change productivity across PepsiCo’s global food and beverage fleets. Sourcing & Contracting – Lead RFPs, negotiations, and contracting, partnering with sector Procurement and S&T Service Delivery teams. Supply Assurance – Lead plan to ensure robust supply/service for all parts, services, and fuel. Supplier Relationships – Develop, implement, and maintain strategic supplier relationships that deliver cost reduction, supply capacity, quality improvement, sustainability, and innovation. Establish KPIs, track, and drive continuous improvement plans. Productivity – Develop multi-year pipeline and execution plan in collaboration with Fleet COEs and sector fleet leaders. Leverage global scale and synergies to increase productivity levels. AOP – Develop and align global category AOP. Partner with sector leads to deliver and exceed AOP by sector and globally. Industry Insights – Grow engagement with peer fleets, professional organizations, government and non-government organizations, trade associations, and academia to drive new ideas and reduce risks. New Opportunities – Investigate and identify potential whitespace spend and collaborate with Supply Chain to develop optimization plans. Leadership - Inspire, motivate, and influence global peers and leaders to embrace consolidated strategies, scaled supplier approach, and new value-added processes. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: BS in Logistics, Engineering, Business, Operations, or Finance 6+ years of experience in the fleet industry, procurement, or supply chain Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to clearly communicate vision and quickly gain alignment with senior management, both internally and externally Excellent skills in analytics using Excel; summarize and make meaningful conclusions with from large data sets 1+ years of vendor negotiation experience Commercially savvy with ability to develop and execute complex and impactful global initiatives while influencing across levels and callaborating across varies sectors. Travel 10%; both domestic and internationally Preferred Requirements: Knowledge and understanding of fleet operations preferred Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $114,700 - $192,100. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.
