SUMMARY
The Procurement Technology Services (PTS) Project Manager will drive ongoing enhancements and increased efficiency for Jabil’s Global Procurement external client services business and Jabil’s internal organization. This person will partner with resources dedicated to developing and expanding Jabil’s global procurement & supply chain external services & internal organization.
JOB SUMMARY
Project Manager will lead assigned projects, support programs and initiatives of medium to high complexity applying project management expertise to support the company and group’s strategy. Manage assigned projects through the various stages of the project lifecycle, from concept to implementation. This includes developing services proposals, SOW, project plans with milestones, Supplier/Client onboarding, resource time tracking and PO/Invoicing. Provide management and guidance toward successful collaboration with multi-functional groups and direct project team responsible for implementation of external client services and internal organization. Resource will be leading global internal & external client projects which may require adjustments to standard working hours to ensure successfully project delivery.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Internal Projects
Define concise goals and objectives within a project frameworkDefine and recognize project Key Performance Indicators and manage the work within scope, quality, time and cost constraints.Support the solution team with developing mitigation plans for project risksWork with Solution team to create project plans, track milestones, support action item follow-ups and proactively support raising risks as signs surface.Ensure project team identifies project risks as they surface, support mitigation plan development and tracks through closure.Facilitate communication as appropriate to all involved and "manage" the stakeholders. This includes escalating issues to the next level of management.Accountable for building key stakeholder relationships as deemed relative or necessary to project success.Facilitates communication and education for all interested parties as deemed necessary.External Client Services
Facilitates the transition of closed Services Contracts between Sales & Delivery teams to ensure all known client information including challenges, goals, agreed upon commitments, contract details including services scope, proposed resources, forecasts, timelines and projected start dates. Ensure all project requirements and/or objectives are correctly gathered, understood and properly translated for execution.Monitor forecast activities for project staffing needs for current and future project needsAccountable for overall project success – including schedule, quality and scope management.Accountable for client satisfaction / relationships as deemed relative or necessary to project success.Ability to support and lead strong multi-functional teams to achieve client objectives.Understand and exceed client needs and expectations while remaining within the boundaries of contracted services.Create and own project plans, track milestones to completion and proactively raise project risks as signs surface.Works with project teams to monitor deliverables, track action items.Provide regular project updates to project team, stakeholders, project champions and leadership as needed.Identify and prepare proposals that close gaps and mitigate risk.Establish and maintain strong relationships with project team members and stakeholders across levels.Ensure all sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately.Supports building and structuring integrated teams to ensure maximum performance; provides direction and motivation.Indirectly responsible for managing cross-divisional / cross-functional / cross-cultural teams.Mentors & coaches project team members and non-direct reports. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in business management or equivalent required.Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Professional Service/Consulting in software applicable discipline is required.Minimum of 5-8 years prior experience in project management in a software applicable discipline.Coupa, Digital Adoption Platform (WalkMe, WhatFix, Userlane), or other Saas solution Certification is required.PMP Certification preferred.Or an equivalent combination of education, experience and / or training.REASONING ABILITY
Strong problem solving, analytic, negotiation, project management and people skills are a must. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, summarize information and draw valid conclusions. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to solve practical problems with limited information. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
