**37743BR** **Extended Job Title:** Producer, Broadcast Graphics **Position Description:** Produces television or radio programs. May supervise other personnel. May be required to possess a valid driver's license. Incumbent may be required to operate a vehicle from the TTU/TTUHSC motor pool to perform the job. **Requisition ID:** 37743BR **Travel Required:** Up to 25% **Major/Essential Functions:** + Produces graphics for television broadcasts and assists with other productions as needed. + Collaborate with broadcast and production teams on broadcast projects. + Collaborate with marketing on commercial content and development. + Partner closely with game producers on graphic production needs + Maintain and build relationships with the university community and Learfield Sports. + Encourages collaboration among multiple groups. + Assists in other productions as needed. + Ability to work overtime, including nights and weekends. + Must have a valid driver's license and two-year driving record acceptable to the university. + May supervise other personnel. + Comply with all NCAA, Big 12, and Texas Tech University rules, regulations, and policies. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Grant Funded?:** No **Minimum Hire Rate:** 17.77 **Pay Basis:** Hourly **Schedule Details:** Schedule Varies **Work Location:** Lubbock **Preferred Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree + Previous experience in live / post-video production. + Knowledge of media production, communication, dissemination techniques, and methods. + Strong editing skills with the following programs: Adobe Premier, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Avid. + Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming. + A thorough understanding of intercollegiate athletics and its relationship to the broader institution, including conference and NCAA governance. + Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. + Ability to work in a high-pressure environment including, but not limited to, meeting deadlines, adapting to last-minute changes, and excellent attention to detail. + Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with a positive ‘can do’ attitude. + Proven quick decision-making skills, high creativity, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability in a team-oriented environment. **Department:** Broadcast Services **Required Attachments:** Cover Letter, Professional/Personal References, Resume / CV **Job Type:** Full Time **Job Group:** Skilled Technicians **Shift:** Other **Required Qualifications:** Two or more years education or training beyond high school with emphasis on professional video production or related area plus two years experience in a video/multimedia environment; OR a combination of education and/or experience to equal four years. **Does this position work in a research laboratory?:** No **About the Department and/or College:** Texas Tech Athletics has a commitment to serving and working with diverse populations and demonstrated alignment with the University’s strategic priorities and values-based culture. **Safety Information:** Adherence to robust safety practices and compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations are responsibilities of all TTU employees. **Pay Statement:** Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan.
