What We Need:

We’re seeking a skilled Broadcast Producer in San Diego to assist with the planning and production/operation of live and pre-recorded radio shows featuring sports broadcasts, news, music, talk and feature productions.

                                                                             

What You'll Do:

Collaborate with presenters, performers or other program contributors to perform quality assurance to meet established production standards, rules and regulations.

Operate audio sound boards and edit audio in programs like Adobe Audition, Nexgen or VoxPro.

Monitor listener emails, social media messages, inquiries and responses related to shows.

Schedule and monitor the radio and digital streams during live recordings.

Assist with time-keeping, saving show recordings, archiving show files and post-production editing.

Podcast editing and posting.

Post to social media promoting games and stations.

                                                                             

What You'll Need:

Must be available to work evenings and weekends aligned with Sports schedules.

Knowledge of San Diego Sports teams; professional and college.

Excellent writing and storytelling skills; ability to tailor and adapt content for different audiences and platforms.

Knowledge of the radio market, different station/program styles, audience demographics.

Detail-oriented and a quick learner.

Experience using a variety of recording equipment and operating a radio studio. Nexgen and Adobe Audition an asset.

Ability to plan and organize, set priorities, multi-task and meet tight deadlines.

Full knowledge of the law, rules and industry regulations around radio productions; know when it necessary to acquire relevant clearances and licenses.

Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint as well as social media platforms.

Canva/Capcut/InShot editing experience an asset.

Compensation:

Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data.
