Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an **Experienced Product Acceptance Specialist** to join our team in **Enfield, CT.** **The selected candidate will be required to work 100% onsite at above mentioned location.** **Position Responsibilities:** + Conducts dimensional inspections per design record and documented AQL levels; Conducts visual inspections for obvious defects. + Review and disposition all certification documentation to meet traceability requirements per AS9100 and Company Quality standards; communicate with vendor as needed. Disposition and control of on-conforming product. + Obtain and maintain Customer Designated Supplier Quality Representative Stamps for at least three customers (or as applicable by Site size); Active use of stamps required. + Review and approval of First Articles from suppliers. + Perform First Articles for submission to customers. + Identify and communicate opportunities to increase inspector productivity and assist with RCCA activities pertaining to Inspection. Assist in internal, customer, and third-party audits. **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** + 6 years of related work experience (6-8 years preferred) + Equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience + Experience in the usage of calipers, ring/pin gages, comparator + Proficiency using Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel) + Experience monitoring measurement and test equipment’s + Previous aerospace inspection experience + Experience in QA inspection methods and procedures, including First Article Inspection + Fluent in English (i.e. reading, writing, and verbal communication) + Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities **This role requires passing a documented color and near vision exam** **Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):** + 1-3 years of supervisory experience, preferred + Understanding of Six Sigma / Lean concepts + Knowledge of AS9100 requirements + Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills + Advanced GD&T Skills – Optical Comparator, CMM, Layout. **Typical Education/Experience:** Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate). **Relocation:** + Relocation assistance is not negotiable benefit for this position.
