The selected candidate will be required to work 100% onsite at above mentioned location.
Position Responsibilities:
Plans and prioritizes daily work schedule to meet department needsDelegates work to employees and drives resolution related to problem work orders Provide guidance and mentorship to other personnelResponsible for first-line direction of inspections/quality assurance associates involved in the development, implementation and maintenance of quality assurance systems, standards and activities Recognize posting errors by receiving department as well as incorrect data entry by Quality InspectorsIdentifies opportunities for continuous improvementsLeads the development and revision of certification procedures within the Company’s Quality Management SystemProvides leadership to Pre-receiving personnel, Inbound and Outbound inspectorsEnsures inspector capacity is adequate to meet daily customer demandsEnsures inspected products meet customer and company quality requirementsEnsures that the Inspection department meets and follows documented Quality systems procedures and policiesReports daily inspection metrics and take corrective actions to meet inspection goalsPrimary owner of all corrective actions in respective areasChange agent to promote continuous improvement techniquesBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
6-8 years of related work experience (8-10 years preferred) or an equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience1-3 years of supervisory experience (4-6 years preferred)Experience with reading, and interpreting blueprints, drawings, schematics and quality assurance standardsStrong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skillsAbility to read, write, and speak English fluentlyProficient in the use of multiple inspection tools (calipers, ring/pin gages, comparator, and Smart scope)Proficient skills in Microsoft Office: Word and Excel and Power PointAbility to read, write, and speak English fluentlyThis role requires passing a documented color and near vision exam

Basic Understanding of Six Sigma / team conceptsWorking Knowledge of DFAR requirements, Vendor test reports and Customer TraceabilityExperience in certification proceduresDetail oriented, efficient and able to work in a fast-paced atmosphereKnowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policiesISO knowledgeTypical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 7 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+5 years' related work, Bachelor+2 years' related work, etc.).
