Product Administrator

Position Summary:

The Product Administrator manages the product lifecycle process within our Product Management Office (PMO), ensuring it continually reflects the current status of our product offerings.  This role provides administrative support to the PMO for the daily operational function of the global products business.  The Product Administrator actively develops a deep knowledge and understanding of Black Box’s systems and processes, ensuring that a 'continuous improvement' philosophy is adopted.

Job Responsibilities:

Works with the Product Management team to facilitate the New Product Introduction (NPI) process in line with the Project timescales, and to create and facilitate master data changes and updates through the proper channels consistent with established business processes.  Manages the stage gate process for NPI submissions. Provides cross-functional communication of project status and tasks to key stakeholders. Manages the scope and timeline of NPI projects using SmartSheets. Ensures all new data entered into the resource planning system is accurate and consistent in its format. Collaborates with the company’s Data Governance Office for process improvements. Researches and collects data and information for master data setup. Processes and resolves obsolete products requests.

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: 

Data analysis and reporting. SAP query writing. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Shows ability to multi-task and problem-solve with strong analytical skills. Possesses a sharp attention to detail, and a keen eye for consistency . Uses initiative when prioritizing workload. Strong team player who can work with a diverse/global team. Proactive and self-motivated with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects and set priorities.  Ability to develop learning/understanding of new products and technologies. Performs work under general supervision. Demonstrates effective and collaborative use of all available resources.

Qualifications:

At least 5 year of relevant work experience. Successful completion of a Senior School Certificate (or high school equivalent). SAP experience required (S/4 HANA preferred, familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics AX is a plus). Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel required. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook required. Advanced knowledge of SmartSheet. application strongly preferred.
