Fixed Income markets have increasingly become electronic and require advanced electronic trading solutions to help manage the speed and complexity. Clients require the ability to make markets and price securities across a wide range of asset classes and pricing models. Our market making suite consists of applications spread across our OMS product along with our EMS solutions, ETOMS and Bloomberg Broadway.
The role:
You'll be joining a fast growing and highly motivated Analytics and Pricing product team that sits within our OMS/EMS & Sell-Side Enterprise Product Divisions. This role is to work closely with market making data to create new analytics and pricing models that will be used by traders in our OMS/EMS solutions. You will work with Bloomberg analytics teams, engineering teams, quants, sales and clients to deliver a high-performance and smarter solution so our clients can serve their own customer base and interact with venues. Product managers will need to apply working knowledge of every aspect of pricing and electronic trading to define product vision and detailed specifications.
We'll trust you to:
Work with a suite of modern data science tools, transform knowledge and apply financial methods and machine learning algorithms to drive data-driven research for the EMS Analytics team, automate the influx of data, conduct feature engineering, model development and data visualization.
Work collaboratively with other Product Managers to integrate pricing services across all relevant workflows
Document clear functional specifications (including SLAs) for each phase of product development
Apply financial modeling at scale to build custom insights about the pricing, trading and negotiation workflows for the fixed income markets
Work with a dedicated engineering team to scope work, solve problems and manage the software delivery pipeline
Manage the delivery roadmap for your product area and evaluate strategy based on market trends and stakeholder demand
Represent Bloomberg to our customers, prospects, and vendor partners
Communicate solutions and roadmaps via written collateral, meetings, and presentations
Work with sales and client services teams, globally, to best position and support our solutions
You’ll need to have:4+ years of Fixed Income experience
2+ years of experience in a quantitative discipline
A Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, similar field of study or equivalent work experience
Asset class knowledge such as: Rates, Credit, Muni, FX, or Derivatives
Proven experience with the software development lifecycle in addition to project management
Demonstrated effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders
We Would love to see:Experience with Fixed Income electronic trading systems and order management systems
Technical background in high performance systems
