Job Description

This position can be located anywhere in the North East of the US. 

Do you have a strong understanding of hydrocarbon-based additives products and their behavior in refinery process unit cooling towers? We're looking for a Product Applications Expert who can navigate the challenges of solving refinery process issues measuring and testing water-in-hydrocarbon systems, which are more complex than traditional water-based systems. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting our HPI Antifoulant product line.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide process or hydrocarbon process industry technical support to the commercial sales team and develop improvement plansCollaborate with Product Management, IT, and Training teams to drive long-term strategy and sustainabilityUnderstand customer concerns around process unit phase separation, fouling, and corrosion issues, develop corrective action plans, and communicate with the commercial teamGather industry intelligence and market trends to inform business developmentMake technical presentations to customers and develop engineering and installation work scopes.

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Chemical or Petroleum Chemical Engineering is preferred.10+ years of experience in refinery process chemical treatment sales and service or combined experience in process chemical sales with refinery process engineering.Strong problem-solving skills, customer focus, and communication skills.Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
