Product Architect
Job Title: Product Architect Location: Huntsville, AL Position Type: Full-Time Travel Requirements: Less than 10% of the time Position Summary: As Product Architect, you will lead the design effort on a variety of projects in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. Your role is to design innovative solutions to real market problems. You will work closely with the broader team to develop new product offerings and improve existing ones to lead technological advancements and product innovation. Required Qualifications: · Must have an Active Secret security clearance. · Lead and contribute to cutting-edge projects and product development (Ex: in AI/ML, systems design, data management, or user interface software). · Drive the creation and implementation of innovative solutions that push the boundaries of technology. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new products from concept to market. · Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (engineering, the sciences, or mathematics), though a master’s degree is preferred. · Be a US citizen. · The candidate must have experience running development projects and proposals. · Ability to communicate complex technical solutions to customers and leadership. · Ability to work with multiple customers and prioritize competing requests with management support. · Ability to design new solutions to complex problems. Product Architect Skills A well-rounded candidate will be equipped with a combination of soft skills, hard skills, and technical skills. The product architect role is both highly technical and a leadership role, making striking the right balance between these skill sets especially important. Skills an applicant should possess include the following: · The ability to manage a team of technical personnel, including inspiring project team members to provide their best work and helping team members stick to projected deadlines · The capacity to communicate with potential clients, outlining the scope of a product and helping them envision how to deliver the final product · Strong written and verbal communication skills · Strong organization skills · The ability to perform regular code reviews on products · The ability to implement both data architecture and security architecture · Prior Product Owner experience on a SCRUM or KANBAN team is a plus.
