As a Senior Product Associate in Fusion Data Management, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.
Job responsibilities
+ Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
+ Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
+ Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
+ Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
+ Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development
+ Contributes meaningfully to the analysis, design, quality control, and documentation for securities/asset services data.
+ Documents and maintain clear product requirements that will act as a guide for business and technical teams to build, launch and market products
+ Collaborates cross-functionally with multiple lines of business (Sales, Client Solutions, Engineering, Product, Data Science)
+ Serves as a trusted advisor for Sales and Client Solution teams to lean on and establish long-term partnerships
+ Identifies expansion opportunities through market research and customer interactions to develop strategies that align with business objectives
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
+ 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
+ Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
+ Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
+ Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
+ Familiarity with technical concepts, data models and a strong passion for product development
+ Organize, prioritize and escalate critical issues and required information to facilitate efficient decision making; establish priorities, and provide oversight and guidance to team of those priorities
+ Ability to distill widely variant feedback into root cause issues and provide actionable feedback to other stakeholders
+ Excellent business presentation, writing and verbal communication skills
+ Proven expertise in leading strategic product initiatives
+ Strong facilitation, process and influencing skills
+ Functional knowledge of common programming languages (such as Python or R) and database languages (such as SQL)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
+ Experience applying data analysis to solve business problems in fast-moving environment
+ Prior experience with data management offerings, focusing on Securities Services Data
+ Understanding of needs and obligations specific to Asset Owners and Asset Managers
