THE ROLE

Cognizant Technology Modernization is changing the game in Data, Cloud and Generative AI based consultancy services. Tech Modernization is almost like a boutique consultancy inside of Cognizant that creates change in how technology is used and fosters an innovative engineering culture.

We strategically drive modern engineering practices and ways of working, along with helping clients in all aspects of enterprise technology solution modernization including AI, Cloud, DevOps, Data and more.

We’re looking for a Senior Consultant, Cognizant Consulting who can deliver within Cognizant’s Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence, which are: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As the Senior Manager, this means overseeing advisory consulting engagements, being a trusted advisor to clients, establishing oneself as a thought leader in your field, solving complex problems, consultatively working with a client to achieve business goals, driving contributions to offerings and innovations, and serving as a people leader, guiding multiple teams as they work to transform a client and the world. RESPONSIBILITIES

Integrate organizational strategies and coach product teams and leaders in the right direction. Practice different coaching stances, appreciate progress made, collaborate with their colleagues, understand Product domain, and co-discover solutions for opportunities presented in our organization Guide product leaders, executives, and teams to further develop their product mindset. Help the enterprise with business agility while pulling from experience and bodies of knowledge such as product management, agile frameworks, and lean practices. As a Product coach, you will leverage your extensive practical product management and agile expertise to solve real world problems, guiding leaders and teams to understand, embrace and evangelize new ways of working. Provide an integral role in influencing product coaching strategies as well as partnering and mentoring other coaches to build a world class coaching organization. Serve as a transformation coach to senior leaders and product teams guiding them toward better business agility. Help build a viable community of product coaches and practitioners throughout the enterprise. Work with product leaders and teams throughout the enterprise to ensure relentless drive for customer focused outcomes using data to gather greater insights. Coach and mentor product teams to leverage appropriate principles such as product mindset, agile principles, human-centered design, modern engineering practices and frameworks to deliver high value products and capabilities. Enable and inspire a collaborative and empowered culture to promote greater business agility. Design and develop facilitator-led materials related to product and agile practices. Through coaching soft skills, building trust, evaluating team’s current practices / methodologies you’ll recommend appropriate next steps to achieve greater business agility. Develop and influence learning strategies for product managers, product owners, and other product leaders. There may be additional essential functions as program evolves.

QUALIFICATIONS

8 years of experience leading technology-powered products in a product manager or other product leader role Must of have worked in the Airline industry Strong knowledge and experience across different frameworks, product strategies, with a product/engineering mindset, and organizational change management. Demonstrable work experience in helping product leaders to create an environment conducive to supporting empowered product teams delivering great results Experience in helping product leaders and senior leaders align priorities to the overall business goals and product strategies Proven experience in building relationships with senior leaders across the organization to influence and inspire change

Work Authorization

Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $98,853 - $158,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
