Product Controller

Description We are in search of a Product Controller to join our team in the financial services sector. This opportunity is based in New York, New York. As a Product Controller, you will have a central role in managing accounting operations, overseeing revenue recognition, ensuring regulatory and audit compliance, and handling financial management.
Responsibilities:
• Spearhead the process of closing at the end of the month, quarter, and year
• Guarantee accurate reporting of all transactions through proper accounting
• Conduct analysis to understand variances in the trial balance and financial statements
• Streamline accounting processes for better efficiency and control by continuous evaluation and enhancement
• Work in collaboration with bankers and global finance teams to effectively manage revenue recognition
• Ensure compliance with recognition rules through monthly revenue reviews
• Handle intercompany reconciliation process on a quarterly basis across various geographies
• Oversee the preparation of documents related to transfer pricing
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and carry out reserve analysis
• Confirm compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards
• Facilitate mid-year review and year-end audits in coordination with external auditors and regulators
• Ensure timely reporting to regulatory authorities for compliance with all FINRA regulations
• Supervise internal audits related to anti-money laundering (AML)
• Manage cash flow forecasts and capital projections
• Offer insightful financial analysis to guide key business decisions
• Prepare comprehensive financial data for forecasting and budgeting processes. Requirements • Proficiency in Android Development with a strong understanding of its frameworks and tools
• Knowledge and experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and their practical applications
• Familiarity with Atlassian Jira for project management and issue tracking
• Proven skills in Bug Tracking to ensure product quality and reliability
• Understanding of Cloud Technologies for efficient and scalable product development
• Experience with About Time software for effective time management and productivity
• Ability to conduct and analyze AB Testing for product improvements and optimization
• Experience with Agile Scrum methodology to ensure efficient project management
• Skills in Backlog Grooming to prioritize tasks and manage project workflow
• Excellent Communication skills for clear and efficient interaction with team members and stakeholders.
