Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Product Cost Analyst for our India & Growing Market Development Centre. This role is critical in providing cost intelligence, driving cost reduction initiatives, and enabling high-confidence cost projections that support strategic business decisions. The successful candidate will develop cost models and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure visibility into product and supply chain cost drivers while optimizing profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive cost intelligence, including projections, trends, and drivers at the product and portfolio levels, to inform business decisions.Lead proactive analysis projects to enhance cost competitiveness, focusing on key components, commodities, and technologies.Drive the cost improvement process, focusing on end-to-end costs (e.g., base unit, commodities, non-material) through regular stakeholder reviews and the preparation of cost analytics dashboards.Collaborate with key stakeholders across Product Management, Markets, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, and R&D to align on cost reduction initiatives and end-to-end cost improvements.Present cost intelligence and analysis clearly and effectively to senior management, providing insights and recommendations on cost strategies.Proactively identify and communicate cost changes and their impact, ensuring visibility across teams and facilitating timely decision-making.Provide thought leadership and contribute to expanding the knowledge base within cost strategy analysis, developing new methods, techniques, and criteria.

  

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree in Business Administration is preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

8-10 years of experience in cost planning, forecasting, and financial modelling.Strong knowledge of PC/mobile product design, components, cost structure, and supply chain processes.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear, actionable insights.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and engage with senior leadership.Strong project management skills, including structuring projects and managing multiple work streams independently.
