About the Role:

 

We’re looking for a Product Designer to join our UX Product Design team working on the modernization of our customer service representative and independent agent experience focused on customer servicing.

 

You will focus on creating best-in-class digital tools for power users, aimed at improving service rep efficiency, improving employee/agent satisfaction, reducing service expenses and tech costs.

 

Under general direction, you will create user-centered design solutions that feature ease of use, employ best-in-class interaction design, and optimize the user experience. You'll experience a degree of autonomy as you support individual product team(s), while also being a part of a mature UX team collaborating with content designers and researchers. In this role you will work with business, engineering, and product owners to understand the business vision, objectives, and transformation plans to help identify opportunities for competitive advantage.

A Visual Craftsperson: You will create conceptual sketches to communicate design ideas as well as detailed design specifications for the finished product. You will ensure brand and design system standards are appropriately integrated into all final designs to deliver a consistent experience.An Experience Innovator: You will work throughout all phases of the design process such as conceptual design, storyboards, persona/scenario development, user task/interaction flow diagrams, information hierarchy, wireframes and prototypes.A Customer Advocate: You will help identify user research needs and participate in immersive user research, concept testing, and usability testing. You will continuously seek and integrate user feedback and test results to optimize solutions.A Natural Collaborator: You will work with multiple functions, including product owners and developers throughout the product lifecycle, seeking frequent feedback and integrating multiple considerations into your work. Qualifications As typically acquired through a Bachelor`s degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years of experience in a related fieldFamiliarity with methodologies such as Agile, Design Thinking, Lean UX, and Lean Startup, and human centered designFamiliarity with the following core disciplines, with demonstrated proficiency in at least two: visual design, UX design, prototyping, front-end development, user research and information architectureExceptional written and oral communication skillsAbility to present projects and status reports to team leadershipStrong organization and analytic thinking skills, with ability to translate moderately complex content into user scenarios, flows and diagramsProven track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teamsProven ability to present projects and status reports to senior management.Online portfolio with examples of UX work and/or case studies preferred About Us
