Product Designer II

We’re looking for a Product Designer to join us in expanding our post-purchase experience and international expansion. Design serves a vital role at Affirm: from building narratives through data to creating products that help people make important financial decisions. As a designer, you are responsible for crafting experiences that solve problems people struggle with every day. 

This Product Designer will help build new partner focused experiences through informed iterative design. You can demonstrate a breadth of design experience leveraging your ability to create delightful experiences that simplify our customers’ payment management experience through Affirm as well as contributing to our wider international expansion strategy. You’ll partner well with design leadership, design research, and content design. You’ll work end-to-end, from contributing towards Design and Product vision to delivering class leading design. You are able to work closely with Product and Engineering to tailor unique customer experiences for our merchants & consumers while ensuring cohesion to the core Affirm experience - championing our customers needs no matter where their journey starts.

What you'll do Design end-to-end flows and product experiences for web/mobile applications that shape our post-purchase and internationalisation experience Create end-to-end detailed design deliverables including experience maps, storyboards, wireframes, and interactive prototypes Work through complex and ambiguous situations to clarify and focus design direction Support through prioritisation of short-term to long-term results-oriented work that drives impact Partner closely with research, content, product management, and engineering to identify opportunities to invest in delightful experiences during all design stages Leverage design principles and frameworks to guide your decisions

What we look for

3+ years experience in consumer product/UX design focused roles Strong, thoughtful approach to the craft of design informed by user needs Knows how to hold a bar for design craft and shipping to learn Self-sufficient and uses leadership and peers to seek out feedback early and often Ability to improve the culture of the team and cross-functional partnerships. Familiar working with and contributing to a design system A demonstrated portfolio of your work thinking strategically across multiple consumer experiences and shipping successful in-app/web experiences in a fast-paced environment. Base Pay Grade - J

Equity Grade - UK 4

Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills.

Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents). In addition, the employees may be eligible for equity rewards offered by Affirm Holdings, Inc. (parent company).

GBR base pay range per year: £81,000 - £111,000
