In this role, you will:

Innovation Design & Development:

Be the expert for your product area on the ideal product for consumers and customers and your products performance versus competitionBe a key player in driving forward our ambitious sustainability agendaInfluencing & partnering with multi-functional teams to develop & deliver programs/projects that are consistent with our strategies and leverage our competitive & consumer understanding to deliver against local, business unit needs

Project Leadership:

Working as part of multi-functional team to provide R&D leadership on your assigned innovation/renovation projects: leading design and development phases of the project to ensure consumer & technical qualification is completed, and ultimately deliver product proposition that meets key criteria (performance, compliance, cost, timings)In this role you will also lead claims development and substantiation, benefit visualisation and demos to support innovation/renovation programs and commercial renovationEnsuring seamless handover to LCM and mill teams to ensure an un-interrupted transfer of R&D project ownership through to launch, providing on-going consultation on any in-market follow-ups & support.

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in a major scientific or engineering discipline.Strong project management experienceExperience of providing R&D support to qualify new product start-ups & facilitate handover to Product Supply/external contract manufacturersStrong product design/development experience and proven ability to translate consumer needs/wishes into product proposals/ideas, and then developing & qualifying products from technical & consumer point of viewGood knowledge of relevant compliance & conformance requirements for regulated products and familiar with change management processStrong Technical Curiosity: be an idea generator and a consumer & brand champion with good technical know howStrong verbal/written communication & influencing skillsGood collaboration & team working skills

Preferred (not essential, but desired):

Good technical mastery across multiple technologies that are relevant for IFP dry tissue and formulated products Has experience working with external contract manufacturers
