As our Product Developer Running, you will provide functional guidance to and share expertise with relevant teams in areas related to garment construction, development process, materials, working and system tools, engineering, costing and meeting all key calendar dates.

How you’ll help us.                 

Based at our EMEA Headquarters, just outside of Amsterdam, Netherlands, you will be reporting to the Head Global Running and Trail Category, and as part of the role, you’ll:   

Develop styles and collections in collaboration with PM, designer and suppliers. 

Research new technologies, materials and garment innovations from the market, including patterns, fit, embellishment and trims, working with cross-function teams to implement into product creation. 

Drive cross-functional communication proactively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve an efficient and effective product development process. 

Partner with the Material lead to recommend materials, new fabrications, and trims to develop innovative and technically superior products each season. 

Be responsible for the physical properties testing and functional testing of fabrics and trims. 

Be responsible for cost review at the first proto stage, working with cross-functional team to suggest changes, where appropriate, to meet target FOB prices and profit margins. 

Ensure on-time product finalisation and approval prior to bulk order placement following the calendar. 

Be responsible for creation, maintenance and follow up of all work documents. 

 

More about you.     

Qualification in Textile, Fashion, Clothing or related field. 

5 years of relevant experience in the garment and sportswear industry. 

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and knowledge of 3D sampling, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. 

International experience.
